From yahoo horoscopes, here's the Capricorn prediction for 2011:

Capricorn Outlook for 2011

'Change' is your middle name at this point, Capricorn. You've been through more personal transformation in the past two years than perhaps in your entire life. The upside is that you're getting used to the intensity of it all. It helps that you're realizing the futility in holding on to people and possessions that only stunt your growth. So many layers continue to be shed on a daily basis but this also gives way to unquestionable personal power. Pluto in Capricorn will carry on for another 14 years; so if this is just the tip of the iceberg, imagine who you will be on the other side of your metamorphosis.

This year the focus shifts from a lifestyle focused on gadgets, information and social networking to introspection, home and family. You are about to encounter your most uncensored raw self on levels as of yet unprecedented. Ready yourself, Goat, because this spring an explosion of fiery planets in Aries sweeps the very base of your horoscope getting you back in touch with some of your most primal instincts. Competition, aggression and the need for plenty of physical outlets ensue.

Some long-standing money issues are finally coming to a finish as the planet of illusion and delusion gets ready to move on to your communication sector. You've learned to use your discrimination in choosing where to invest and where to spend. For the next 14 years, instead of worrying about money leakages you'll be working on mindfulness to avoid spacing out. In any case, your way with words is apt to become poetic and inspired, which can only make the world appear infinitely more beautiful.

God, I hope this is true.

New Year's Eve, me and Will. Charlotte is a Capricorn too, in early January. We are going to be a strong, contentious household when the E's are off at college and it is Erik vs. three bullheaded Capricorns, LOL.

Poor Erik. Poor, poor Erik.

I was just scanning through your journal to see where you guys had moved from and found this. We're both Capricorns! We'll either totally hit it off or be arch enemies forever :)

So, I found the conversation between you and Katy about Boston. Is that where you guys recently came from?

No, we just moved from upstate NY. Before that, we were in Boston. Before that, I was in TX, where I grew up.

So you're from around here? What do people do over the rainy season???

Heh, this was my first question when we moved to Maine. WTF it is miserable 10 degrees outside, do you people just stay inside for six months??? And the answer is yes.

Katie, Soulemama doesn't stay in for six months. Now I am convinced she is insane or a robot.

No, it's that I am a total cold wimp. I'm pretty sure you didn't stay in all winter in upstate NY!

On the other hand, I puffyheart rain, so the idea of donning raincoats and galoshes and umbrellas and splashing in puddles -- or walking into town in a misty wonderland -- doesn't send me into despair. I trundle all the girls to the grocery store by foot in the rain when we're at my mom's house without a second thought. But the idea of taking my kids out into the biting cold to sled down a hill? I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS. Never. I hate the very idea. I am, like, cold impaired.

Oh no, of course not, when there is so much wassailing to be done!

Ugh. No, we stayed in a lot too. But we did do the occasional sledding/snowshoeing/snowmanning thing.
