I've had a really hard time feeling enthusiastic about this election. I watched a couple of the debates and thought, Obama is a good speaker. That's about it. The man can talk. Is that what's so great about him? I see all this talk about how great he is, and I'm wondering...why? So, Ljers, I know a lot of you are very into Obama, so please tell me why. Last election I couldn't bring myself to vote, which made me feel sick and guilty, but I almost feel the same way this time around.

I just have a weird feeling in my gut that I'd regret voting for Obama.

why would you feel like you'd regret voting for him?

i mean, i have my reservations, too, but that's because the system is so fucked that voting is a joke and i know this. i like him because he's hot. i like him because he's controversial. i like him because he was raised by a single mother on foodstamps. i like him because he can speak and he knows what the hell he's talking about and he, overall, shares the same views i find important. while i am not undecided as to who i'd vote for, i am undecided as to whether or not i'm voting at all.
