I was just looking through my iPhoto collection briefly, and realizing that I really should have them backed up somewhere. What a catastrophic loss it would be to lose them! What do you guys do? External hard drive? If so, recommend a specific one. I have a flickr account but never did a whole lot with it. Should I?

Man, I really have some great shots in there. I need to see if any of them are good enough quality to print.

Either an external hard drive or an online account where you can store the files and retrieve them as needed (I think Flickr works for this, but not Snapfish or the like).

Also, if at all possible - burn them to CD or DVD, and put the discs in a safety deposit box. Having an external hard drive, for instance, will protect you from drive failure or corruption, but not against a house fire or flood - think how great it would be to have all your pictures available after something like that!
