Jan. 29th, 2009 05:53 pmI'm convinced this toy thing is going to go through as-is, and since this is the last paycheck before it goes into effect on the 10th, I'm going to spend all my money on all the toys and kid stuff I would have bought this year. Stupid maybe, but whatever. I need a diversion, and ordering a bunch of fun stuff is a pretty good one, I think.
SO I'm getting all the pieces I want to finish the birthday ring, the amsterdam haba block set I've wanted forever, an advent calendar, some dress up stuff, and dollhouse dolls and furniture. This is probably excessive, but that's what I was planning to buy this year, bare minimum, so I won't feel bad about it. It'll be a couple paycheck's worth of allowance, but that's fine. Only thing is, I'm wondering if I wait a week, if more places won't be having drastic sales.
