Aug. 3rd, 2007 02:06 pmA reasonable course of action for organizing my house/life:
Go over the entire house a few times, each time with a specific goal.
First time: collect/dispose of all trash/recycling.
Second time: collect any dishes/glasses, take to kitchen.
Third time: collect all dirty laundry, throw down to basement.
Fourth time: collect all clean laundry, throw on bed, FOLD finally, and put away.
Fifth time: Anything to be taken to Salvation Army--put in my car.
Sixth time: Anything that is out of place or does not have a place established: put in plastic bins bought for this purpose; I will sort through, put away, find places for everything.
Seventh time: Dust everything.
Eighth time: vacuum everything.
Ninth time: clean bathrooms, doorknobs, things that need to be scrubbed
Tenth time: collapse in a clean house.
