Jan. 25th, 2006 03:57 pmSo yeah, Topaz slept a lot yesterday, which meant she was awake until 6am. She was kind of fussy a lot of the night, so I spent a lot of time just walking her around the apartment and trying to be soothing. She finally fell asleep, and then slept a solid 8 hours. I miss sleeping with Jake, and I'm raring to go when Jake gets home and wants to crash. So it's a bit frustrating to have the days and nights mixed up, but I'm not complaining because I get to sleep for long stretches, so I know I have it pretty good.
While I was up last night, I started reading Dr. Sears' Nighttime Parenting. He says that babies figure out the day/night thing around 3-4 months. So hopefully it will be soon.
Our first anniversary is next Thursday. So for all of you who made bets that it wouldn't last six months, I'm truly sorry.
