I am so manic right now it's not even funny. Unfortunately most of my energy is of the mental variety as opposed to the physical, but I feel a walk up the hill is oin order later.

At the rate I'm going, this knitting thing is going to require my winning the lottery. I keep finding gorgeous and fairly pricey projects I desperately want to do.

Like many of these: http://www.theknittinggarden.com/noro-cthcoll2.htm

Maybe I should just finish some of the projects I'm working on now.

Just watched Happy Accidents and am massively creeped out. I randomly picked this movie up at the library yesterday because I have liked Maris Tomei in other things and it hardly matters if it sucks because it's free at the library.

ANYWAY. It was actually a good movie. Very strange, and you're never sure exactly how it's going to turn out till just a couple minutes till the end and then you see it happen so fast and you're like, Holy fucking shit, I can't believe that just happened. But it was good, and held my interest so much that I fucked up my knitting and spent thirtyu minutes ripping it back to fix it.

So. Highly recommend, if for no other reason than it would be fun to discuss with someone at some point.

I just accidentally figured something out! If you hold down the shift key and then Tab, you go backwards through fields! I can think of a hundred times I wish I had known this. And how did I NOT know this???

This world to her
Was but a tragic play.
She came, saw, dislik'd,
And passed away.

He says it's the epitaph of a young girl who died centuries ago.

Sounds good to me.

I was getting hot in here so it occurred to me to turn on this little fan I have sitting here near the computer. It's always such a pleasant surprise when a tiny little fan actually solves the problem. This never happened in Texas.

So I called my mom to ask her if she had any ideas for things I could make Taylor for her birthday. She suggested a purse but I wasn't sure she would really like it. So now Taylor, you will probably get a purse/backpack of some undetermined type, and the other thing I was formulating in my head, which my mom was actually enthusiastic about.

Everyone on my presents list has a birthday in October or November, in addition to that whole Christmas thing. Well, everyone except Elaine, and I'm not even sure I'm making her anything. I might just get her some yarn and a pattern and let her make herself something.

I should really try to clean up this apartment, but apparently my frenzied tackling of projects (such as sorting and resorting various collections of shit and knitting related stuff) does not extend to actually worthwhile endeavors. Pity.
