She wanders over to the TV, turns it on, pushes the eject button on the DVD player to see what's inside, either pushes it back in and hits play, or rumnmages around for a different one to put in. Right now she's settled on a Coupling DVD, and the menu sequence is playing over and over. I suppose I should be glad it's not Nanny McPhee again. Apparently my fondness for gadgets is genetic.
We're going to Bainbridge and possibly Ithaca today, in search of garden stuff. Jake let me make an absurdly large order on Johnny's Select Seeds, so now we have two varieties of the following on their way: potatoes, onions, cauliflower, and strawberries, as well as some organic fertilizer recommended by my garden teacher. We still have a lot left to buy though. I don't think Jake quite realises how much.
We have yet to buy anything loungy or sitty for the backyard. Maybe a hammock, swing, SOMETHING.
