We bought wedding bands tonight.

Jake doesn't like the idea of having them engraved, but I do. Not that I have a clue what I think they should say. Opinions? Or maybe it's just tacky. I have no idea.

I like just putting dates.
And that list does suck. If my fiance got me rings that said, "Well, you wore me down," or "Penn State Forever!" I think I'd end up staying single.

Ours are unengraved, which I think is mostly because we never got around to it.

If someone tried to quote John Denver in my wedding band, I would give it back. "You fill up my senses", feh.

when Liz quit blue forever ago i gave her a band thats in the same design as the tattoo on my foot (greek key pattern) on the inside i had engraved the word FRIEND from one of the songs on the answers. i cant remember which one, Tomorrow i think. when i gave it to her i told her 'your life takes you in many directions. sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. no matter how many twists and turns are in your path, youre right where you belong.' i saw her about a year or two after that and she said she couldnt sleep w/o that ring on or she would have nightmares.
