Yes I'm up, but I actually slept. I think, anyway. I don't recall lying in bed for hours on end debating about whether to get up or stay in bed. That must be a good sign. I don't feel quite as horrible as I have the last few days. so that's something. Topaz decided that having hiccups was funny, so we got up about an hour ago.

I'm hoping to get a bit more sleep before the morning is over.

She's been teething, which means slobber, snot, and fussiness. Fun for the whole family.

When I have more free time, I need to make Topaz some soakers and longies with thie Peace Fleece yarn. I have a couple of soakers almost finished from ages ago, but I never seem to think of knitting when I DO have a few spare minutes nowadays.

Valentine's Day. Never been a big deal to me. Jake asked if I wanted something, and I told him not really. I seiously don't care. I haven't gotten anything for him anyway. Sometimes I wish we got all worked up about holidays and special occasions, but oh well. Maybe I should ask him to just put his socks in the hamper for once.

He just walked in, and I asked him, and he DID IT. My day is complete.

I actually have a .wav of that very thing on my old computer, from when Miss Bit was around Topaz's age. Yet another reason I *will* rescue the stuff on Pandora's hard drive, whatever the cost.

Having a computer with a mic rocks when you're sitting around with a baby and no one else there to witness the genius of your child. I made *everyone* listen to them.

Now I bless digital cameras with sound capabilities on the movie function. All this easy recording is probably going to give kids a complex, but we have to support the next generation of therapists, somehow. ;)

(actually, I'm half expecting Bit to ask me for a blog of her own. She already make phone posts in mine.)

You should send in your livejournal posts to one of those parenting magazines, some of this stuff is GOLD. =)
