valancystirlingToday has been fairly productive. Jake got up early and got tons of stuff done while I was asleep, and I've gotten quite a bit done.
Four loads of laundry, almost all the dishes, made lunch, put away almost all the laundry, went to the post office, went through the starbucks drive-through, finished the seams on two soakers, and ate 47 pieces of bread. Now that I'm not on the yeast diet, all I want is sugar and carbs. This does not bode well. I was clearly better off avoiding it altogether. I won't even tell you how many times we've been to B&N for a piece of cheesecake.
Still, I fit in my old black pants, so that's something.
Topaz is playing with much glee in a pile of yarn. She dumps the basket all around her, I clean it up, she dumps it, wash rinse repeat. She seems happy.
I have all these creative ideas and am lacking the time/skill to flesh out most of them. Someday, though. I should start a new creative journal that I can keep with me in the car and jot down ideas and sketches.
