valancystirling | it's about time

I've battled with myself over this for a while, but now it's far too obvious that the benefits of staying in this group are vastly outweighed by the insanity that I perpetually encounter here.

I'm consistently shocked at how it's okay for people here to condemn or make rude comments about something, but as long as that feeling is shared by the moderators, it's never rebuked. Anytime I or anyone else posts an opinion that is NOT shared by the moderators, it is immediately banned and posts are locked, the thought police are sent in, and we are reduced to bad little children who ought to know better than to feel free to express our opinions.

I have little doubt that this post will be deleted long before anyone has a chance to see it, and if that happens it will only prove my point for me. I know I'm not the only one to be sick of this, and I won't be the last to leave.

Ignorance is encouraged here, thinking for oneself is not. For those of you who never question anything, knock yourselves out.
