I'm so sick of all the things i make for dinner. I make a lot of the same stuff my mom made, sometimes with variations to experiment. I have stacks of cookbooks and the internet at my disposal but i'd rather get ideas from you guys.

1 lb. chili meat/ground chuck (if you want the vegetarian kind, I love using Morning Star crumbles, or no meat at all. ^_^)
1 can corn
1 can petite diced tomatoes
2 cans dark red kidney beans
1 small can tomato paste
1 small onion, chopped
1 pkg. cornbread mix (I love using Jiffy).
If you have them, the following spices. It wouldn't taste any different if you didn't use them: Oregano, garlic, basil, and black pepper)
Chili mix of choice (I love French's brand)
Shredded cheddar cheese if you have it.
Brown meat in skillet, then drain fat, and pour in boiling pot. If using Crumbles, or nothing, just get out a huge boiling pot, pour in 1/2 cup water, then as it boils, dump crumbles in. Add Chili mix, stir, set it to medium-high/medium heat, and let sit for one minute. To save time, you could prepare the cornbread. Preheat to 400, put in a little pan. If you can't consume pure milk, or eggs, then you can buy the cornbread mixes that only need water.
Then stir in tomato paste and corn. When both are blended in well, add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, onions, and corn. To add mondo taste, add 1/4 cup milk in. Put pot top on, and let cook for five minutes. When cornbread mix is done, take out while hot, and start crumbling half of the pan to bits using any old thing (fork, knife, wedding band, whatever).
Open up pot, and if the chili is bubbling a bit, pour in the cornbread crumbles. Then put back the lid, and bubbles and brim for two more minutes. After that, it's ready to serve!
