I'm reading up on our trip to Spain, and naturally I got sidetracked trying to find yarn stores there.

Then I got sidetracked looking at yarns and patterns by Katia (of Spain) and have suddenly begun to wonder why my closet is not full of gorgeous tops like this one:

Must remedy this immediately.

So I can at least work on a partial trip wardrobe so as not to be horrifically American while we're there.

Spin a Yarn carries some Katia stuff, so I might just have to wander over in the next couple of weeks and start planning.

The more I look at this stuff, the more I'm deciding that for the next ten years or so I will knit Katia patterns exclusively. Look inside some of these pattern books...
