Oct. 31st, 2005 12:27 pmI need a personal assistant today. Okay, most days.
I've managed to get all our clean clothes put away, books put back on shelves, balanced the checkbooks, called the bank, filed all our loose paperwork, and taken a shower. My to-do list for the day is staggering, but it all really needs to get done. I suppose I could just NOT can this current batch of applesauce, but have it in there to snack on. There's a thought. Maybe by the time the next batch is ready, I'll feel like doing more canning.
Must remember to cook the little pumpkins so they don't go bad. And find recipes calling for pumpkin butter. Mmmm.
I think now I need to go to the library. Between the two of us, we owe $16 already, and I would guess it's my fault on all counts. I'm usually so responsible about such things, but the last several months...forget it.
Must make huge batch of lasagna tonight. I'm supposed to be making and freezing dinners so I don't have to worry about cooking or starving to death after the baby is born, but the more I think about it, isn't that what my mom is going to be here for (in FIVE DAYS!!!)? I'll make a monster batch of lasagna because I sort of enjoy doing it, and my mom is counting on having MY lasagna while she's here. And we spent all kinds of money on all the ingredients for it, so I might as well.
We're going to set up the cosleeper tonight. I'm really hoping we can make it work without rearranging the whole bedroom. I like the way the bedroom is set up. Ugh.
Must wrap Jake's mom's birthday presents.
I really want us to go see that movie tonight, but I have no idea if it will happen.
Our new Dunkin Donuts opens down the street at 6am tomorrow. I suspect I might drag my sorry ass out of bed for the occasion.
I find this extremely scary.

Date: 2005-10-31 07:57 pm (UTC)Contending that the initial refusal caused his death, prosecutors charged Rowland with first-degree murder.
She lost one of her OWN babies and they charged HER with murder? You've got to be kidding me. Hasn't she suffered enough loss? A court order like this treats women as nothing more than an enslaved vessel for babies.
This makes me sick.
