Lots to say today, some of it amusing. I'll get to that later.

I'm trying to figure out why I felt compelled to order this. To support the band? Because it was cheap? Because I buy anything that says Blue October on it?

I'm intrigued by this. A haunted dorm room at Elmira College?

Doctor's appointment today. Largely pointless. I set the alarm to get up about 5 hours after we finally got to sleep, and Topie shocked me by staying awake the whole time. She was very good, and just played with her hands during the appointment. She stayed awake until 3pm, at which time we took a 3.5 hour nap.

Today is our first anniversary. We got takeout from The Lost Dog, which was a nice splurge. I had a nice cappucino as well, which was SO good. I could drink about a gallon of that.

We also ate the piece of chocolate cake we put in the freezer this day last year. We both agree that it's a much more impressive that we didn't succumb to temptation for a full year and left it in the freezer, than that we stayed married for a year. There were many times when we had serious discussions about exactly how wrong it would be to eat that cake early.
