valancystirlingTopaz is being loud. Very loud. Loud and squirmy.
I finished the soakers for Ali and Valeri. Very, very cute. Now I'm finishing up the purple one for Topie, then I'll lanolize them all.
I've come up with a gimmick. I can do all kinds of fancy things built-in to these soakers. I can add embellishments that I am already fairly good at. I have books on embellishment. I am inspired.
Okay, now she's in bed. I was just reading the new Mothering and thinking how maybe one day I should write something for that magazine.
I keep having these neat ideas for things to make baby-wise. Practical things and fun things. I need to get that notebook! I don't want to lose all these ideas, and I don't want to share them either.
I'll go to bed in a minute.
Blue October is coming to Syracuse on the 12th. It's possible that Jake's Mother's Day gift to me will be taking me to the show and watching Topie while I'm there. So he would take her someplace, a bookstore or whatever, and keep her entertained while I'm entertained. I'm partly excited, and partly not. I guess I still want some symbolic little token. Oh well. That's just not who I married.
