Aug. 2nd, 2006 02:48 pmCrazy, crazy time. Much to say. I'm at the library with a sleeping Topaz in my lap. Our computer is actually up and unning now, but the mold in our apartment finally won, so we've been let out of our lease on the gounds that it's uninhabitable. So th computer is sitting there, wanting to be used, but we can't spend much tme there. Irony?
So we're crashing at Jake's mom's this week, which is actually fine.
And don't hold me to ths, but I think we might make an offer on a house tomorrow. Stress much?
I've been crazy busy getting storage lined up, houe-hunting, and a billion other things. And it's like Houston hot here.
I have to get us packed up this week, which will be challnging with Topie, but we'll figure it out.
All in all I'm kind of excited, but it's just so much going on at once. Hopefully next week things will level out somewhat.
Now.
Ali, I have been thinking about you a lot lately! I can't wait to see pictures of Roary.
And Mikee, your CDs have been the soundtrack to all this chaos and are a nice distraction. If you can do more of them eventually, we'll be glad to have more.
I have lots of other messages for specific ones of you but my arm is starting to hurt. More soon!

Date: 2006-08-03 03:21 pm (UTC)I don't know if you still remember me but, it's Adrian. I remember when we first started chatting like 6 yrs ago my freshman year @ Penn State, we were on AIM and your Chanel screen name just popped out at me.
In any case, I just wanted to say "hello" in hopes that things are going well for you. I see that you and Jake have a baby now -- how wonderful! By the looks of her pictures, she's adorable, and I'm sure that you're such a proud mommy.
On my end, well, I'm gay. haha Glad to get the done and over with. The last couple of yrs in college & when I went to Paris I just came to terms with it and dealt with it. Yeah so, it wasn't easy at first, but now it's fully integrated into my life and it's really no big deal. Being fabulous is a hell of a lot better than trying to be butch and straight ever was darling. :-) So that's the biggest scoop on me, that and I live in NYC as I had planned right after university. I've been here for 2 yrs now, and I work for US headquarters of Air France as an international market analyst.
Yeah, so it's not fashion as I had always wanted it to be, but it's I'm networking like crazy, and I've been doing very well with my profession. I'm starting to work on the side with a friend of mine who is in PR, and I too have been doing some PR stuff as well. Moreover, she's launching a fashion line in NYC's Spring Fashion week 2007 so, I'm going to be involved in that to the point that hopefully someday soon, it will become my entire career. In the meantime, I've been traveling a lot and working hard to play hard. I had a bf for several years with whom the relationship is still not quite over but, it's not in effect either. He lives in Paris and although I'm often there, long distance just doesn't work for me. So, in the meantime, I'm dating a really amazing guy who's working for the time being saving some money to go back to nursing school (how Meet the Fockers, right?). He's great, things are great, and overall, I'm enjoying every minute of life as it is.
Well, I hope that you still remember me (if even faintly), and I would love to hear back from you sometime soon. Take care, oh, and since I'm not on LVJ often at all, you can either find me on MySpace by my e-mail AdrianLM@gmail.com, or just send me an e-mail. Take care Julie!
