Holy shit. Thats 175 ounces of milk, for 3.5 oz bottles. 250 for 5 oz bottles. 1-2 GALLONS. No wonder child-free folk call you mamas "moos".

Definitely true. I think what's most exceptional about this story is that 1. She even attempted it in the first place, and 2. Her doctor was supportive.

I wish I understood the science of lactation better--so many women seem to give no thought to their supply and then there are lots of others who have the same situation as you. What are the underlying factors involved??? Probably there are so many things you could never pinpoint.
