Boston was fun. We ate well.

This trip goes down in history as the first road trip during which we consumed NO fast food whatsoever. I consider this a major victory.

Anyway, I seem to have lost my taste for fast food of any kind, which is good. Hope that lasts.

My tres leches turned out okay. Jake likes it. I think it's not the right texture, but I don't know if it's because of me or the recipe.

I'm eating string cheese.

And NOW! For a whole sentence that's NOT about food! Damn, couldn't think of one after all. Sorry.

When eating string cheese, do you actually pull off 'strings' the entire time or at what point do cease the stringing process and simply eat the stick?

I just eat the stick. Jake is very finicky and eats it string by string. I used to be the stringy type, but now when I need to eat, I need to eat NOW, so there's no time for that.

The little one must not want any of the bad stuff in fast food. At least you can eat now. Does your nausea still bother you sometimes?

Just when I think it's getting better, it gets way worse. This weekend I felt a lot better, but yesterday was one of the worst days yet. I was barely able to eat all day and today is already looking pretty grim. It has to go away eventually...maybe.
