I hadn't been to the Open Book in a while, but I'm going to have to start hanging around there again. Justin posted the final 15 songs on the new album:

I'm particularly excited because I have never even heard most of these songs. It really sucks to be away from Texas.

One thing that has always annoyed me is the name of song #1. Grammatically speaking, it should be X NUMBER of words, not amount, but whatever. Every time I listen to the song I really have to make an effort to not think about that, because it is really an overwhelmingly amazing song. So really, I only know four songs, so I'm going to be squirming in my seat until this album comes out.

Anna, if you have any of these songs, I will pay you, or knit you stuff, or whatever, to get them.

And just for that little bit of horror that your life may have been lacking, have a listen: Because Justin says so. (just...maybe don't listen at work.)

Heh. People confusing "less" and "fewer" is my personal bug-bear. I'm not a pedant, but it just sounds so wrong! Why is it apparently such a difficult concept to grasp?

I don't know, but I keep explaining it to the college students I teach, and they keep getting it wrong.

I personally boycott grocery stores that have lines marked 7 Items or Less.

It is just intolerable.

I can deal with Justin's bad grammar because he is a musical genius. Can't have everything. Maybe his next girlfriend will be an English major.

Funnily enough, that's one I don't notice, presumably because I've seen it so often. "Seven items or fewer" actually sounds odd in that context.. Oh well, I gave up expecting consistency from my brain years ago :/
