Feb. 9th, 2006 03:44 pmThis no-dairy thing is clearly the solution for us. Our lives are much quieter and calmer. No screaming at all. When she gets tired or hungry she whines a bit, but those things are easy to fix. If I leave her on the floor to play, after a while she gets that WHERE DID YOU GO MOMMY cry, but as soon as I come in and talk to her she's all smiles.
Right now she's taking a little nap on the couch, but it's okay because there's sun right on her.
I'm trying to forget how tired I am by cleaning up the apartment. And when I say cleaning, I mean picking up socks and putting them in the laundry pile. And throwing away receipts and random clutter on the countertop, and then making sure livejournal is still there. It is.
Oh, and I paid the minimum payment on our credit card, in anticipation that soon we'll pay the whole thing off.

Date: 2006-02-09 09:12 pm (UTC)I grok. Half my family had farms, at one point or another, in Wisconsin. The look at me oddly, to say the least, when I say I don't drink milk, etc.
And I feel for my friends out here who are vegetarian/vegan. We quote My Big Fat Greek Wedding alot: "What do you mean he don't eat no meat? Oh, that's okay. I make lamb."
